Recognised as the ‘Sustainable Beverage Manufacturer of the Year’ in 2023, The Mount Warning Beverage Company remains steadfast in its commitment to environmental sustainability, extending its efforts to embrace solar power. Nestled within the beautiful surroundings of Kunghur, New South Wales, the company encountered a familiar commercial obstacle: escalating energy expenses stemming from extensive machinery usage throughout the workweek. Determined to harness clean energy to sustain their already certified carbon-neutral business, they collaborated with us to implement a state-of-the-art 200kW commercial solar system.

Harnessing the sun

Through meticulous planning and execution, we installed a robust 200kW solar system to their production facilities. This system not only promises to slash their energy expenses and enhance operational efficiency, but also positions the company as a trailblazer in sustainable practices within the industry. In fact, this installation is equivalent to planting 6623 trees annually, while saving just over 110,000 litres of petrol and more than 125,000kg of coal each and every year, too. Pretty incredible, right?!

Blending aesthetics with functionality

One of the challenges in implementing solar solutions for commercial establishments is ensuring a seamless integration with existing infrastructure. Like all jobs, the installation of 400 solar panels atop the company’s expansive rooftop was executed with complete precision. The Clenergy all black racking and mounting system provides sturdy support for the panels, while the panels complement the aesthetics of the surrounding nature beautifully.

Empowering operations

With over three weeks of meticulous effort and the installation of more than 5,000 screws, our dedicated team ensured the seamless integration of the solar infrastructure.

The solar setup, comprising 400 Trina Solar panels mounted on a Clenergy Ezi-Rack system and integrated with 2 Fronius Tauro Eco inverters, now boasts an impressive output to power their practices. At the time of installation, there was an incredible output of 151kW. Of this, 59.7kW powered the factory operations, while a surplus of 91.1kW was fed back into the grid.
